TabFerry processes browser tab titles, tab URLs, tab group titles, and text pasted by the user only to provide its tab copying and link opening features.
Data handling
- TabFerry processes this information locally on the user's device.
- TabFerry does not transmit information to the developer or any third party.
- TabFerry does not collect analytics, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or account information.
- TabFerry does not sell, share, or use user data for advertising, credit decisions, or any purpose unrelated to its single purpose.
- No human reads user data processed by TabFerry.
- Pasted text remains only in the open extension popup and is discarded when the popup closes.
- Interface preferences are stored in the popup's local browser storage.
Permissions
TabFerry uses the tabs permission to read tab titles and
URLs and to open links requested by the user. It uses
tabGroups to include Chrome tab group titles in Markdown
output. It uses clipboardWrite to copy generated output
after the user clicks Copy.
TabFerry has no host permissions, content scripts, background service, or network requests.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
TabFerry's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide or improve TabFerry's user-facing features.
Changes
This policy will be updated if TabFerry's data handling changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
